A close friend and colleague of ours Kenneth Bernal has recently found out that his mother Nancy Bernal has Liver Cancer ( Hepatocellular Carcinoma ) I would like to ask all of our friends and family to pray for her, him and their family. The transportation and medical costs are going to abound as her treatments are going to be in Salt Lake City, Utah which is a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive from Green River, Wyoming and she may have to stay overnight or more on some occasions as the treatments will make her ill as well. 2. The Friends of the Jeff Davis County Library present the book, "They Don't Make People Like They Used To: olden times in Telfair County, Georgia" by Addie Garrison Briggs. This book has been revised and expanded by author Stephen Whigham who will be presenting. Thursday, April 11th at 6:30 pm.
