Thoughts on Gods.
All through my life I have put thoughts into gods. Prayed to the desert god in my youth, the same with my time looking into Druidism, and also prayed, honored and a few times sacrificed to the gods of the North. I have seen things of the Northern gods that put wonder in my mind about them, yet I have wondered a number of things about them and the lore. In my thoughts, I wonder if their Ragnarok has already happened and we are in a time of the ones left behind. Or, are they there but pay little attention to those few of us who still honor them. I know my life is nothing worth their attention, even if I do honor them or sacrificing to them. My offering is the same to them as every other offering. Another penny in a hoard of pennies, so to speak.
No god has knocked on my door asking for hospitality. I have not had thunder boom over my head as answer to my prayers or offerings. The few "signs" that I have seen are not definite proof that the gods chose the particular event I was at to make an appearance, or they hurry around the globe and pay visits to every faining/blot they are called upon, or are able to divide themselves up so a sliver of their mind/body/soul can be in attendance. Honestly I do not know and really have no way of knowing.
Before this stirs up peoples emotions, I am in no way saying this to dishonor the gods or disrespect others beliefs. This is my opinion and if the gods see fit to correct me, they will.
On the other hand I cannot dispute the reality of my ancestors. I know they have been here, or I would not. I, or those, close to me have witnessed their interactions with us in the past. I see them when I look in the mirror, I have heard their tales, seen their names in the records, and so on. Where the gods may feel my life is not worth their attention ( not that I blame them) this is not likely the case with my ancestors. Why would they not take an interest in my life? They are my past, I am their present and my children their future.
There is a modification of the prayer heard in the movie 13th Warrior where it is the ancestors are looking to their living blood, it's something that stirred me when I read it;
Lo, here do I see my son.
Lo, here do I see my daughter, their daughters and sons.
Lo, here do I see the line of my people forward to the mists of tomorrow.
Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place in Midgard at the hearth of our folk.
Where the memories and spirits of the family will live forever.
That whole prayer is something that I would see being used by me and those who were on this path that I am on.

Hamrick's Pro Debut
Tyler Hamrick #726 of Cortland, Ohio made his Pro Debut at Rd. 1 in GA at Aoina Pass MX. Tyler qualified 13th fastest in the muddy track conditions and made it threw to the big show. A bad holeshot in Moto 1 put Hamrick in the back of the back. Tyler made a few passes and survived the mud with a 15th. 2nd Moto started the same with another bad start in 16th. At the end of lap one Hamrick stalled it and went to dead last. He quickly got his Honda running and made a charge back up to 14th, for a 14th overall for the weekend. "Not the way I wanted to make my debut into the Pro Class but ill take what I can get, learn from my mistakes and come out at Rd. 2 swinging. Also a big thanks to my mom and dad and all the sponsors that have helped me thus far we appreciate it!"

Desa Archaeological Excavation Project started in 2001 as a collaboration between Muzeul Olteniei Craiova (Oltenia's Museum at Craiova) and The Faculty of History from Craiova. That year research was conducted in Desa (Dolj County) at two archaeological sites dating from Roman and Roman-Byzantine periods, known in literature under the names of La Ruptura and Castravitza. August 2013 will be the 13th consecutive campaign in the most isolated and wildest archaeological camp in Romania (the nearest populated area is about 12 km N). The site is located on the banks of the River Danube.
During the years a number of interesting and spectacular discoveries have been made, covering a chronological span from the Bronze Age (the earliest cremation graves on the Lower Danube), Iron Age tumuli and graves (in 2011 was discovered a Celtic warrior cremation grave from the 3rd century BC), Roman and Roman-Byzantine period ( the best preserved Roman weapons from the 4-5th century AD, a castellum and a cremation cemetery from the 1–2nd century AD), a hoard of 75 gold coins from the 14th century. Desa is also important, because the castrum/castellum here was a bridgehead for the Legio XIII Gemina camped in Dacia Ripensis in Ratiaria (Ratiaria, Bulgaria).
