Im told im wrong for my previous posts. And have lost focus and credibility regarding what this page stands for, whilst i accept any posts i make may not be to all tastes, i stand by my principles that today with the passing of thatcher the chapter of Suffering and wrong that was started some 30 odd years ago as been indeed partially closed, to the people who lived under thatchers reign their wounds wont heal. She brought this country to its knees and to a stand still, she stole every last bit of dignity from the working class the very people who built and made this once great nation.
Ive not lost focus i remember growing up in thatcher Britain, and with the 2nd coming in the form of David Cameron i fear for my kids futures.

POWER BALL
I love the odds:
You are more likely to be in an accident on your way to buy the ticket than actually winning!

There are many strong shows out there like CSI: New York and Body of Proof but a high percentage of the viewers that watch these are not in the age range 18-49. It would be a great idea if the age range was stretched to 18-59. Then viewers won't have to try and Save Body of Proof and Save CSI New York. Operation 9.
People over 50 need to be counted because a lot of the shows that get canceled have a lot of people over the age of 50 that watch them. For example: Body of Proof gets a 1.4 rating and 8.6 million viewers. Nashville gets a 1.7 rating and 5.5 million viewers. More viewers of Body of Proof are over the age of 50 while Nashville has more viewers under the age of 50 and that's what the networks care about. Generally, over 50's tend to have more money to spend than the younger generation who keep watching reality television.

Irfan on a press meet in mumbai:
It is a painful five run loss that the Delhi Daredevils are coming off as they face an upbeat Mumbai Indians at the Wankhedestadium on Tuesday. It was a much better performance by the Daredevils as compared to their tournament opener against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Their ace speedster Umesh Yadav picked up four wickets against the Rajasthan Royals and one of theirkey batsmen in the lineup David Warner; showed some form scoring a 56 ball 77 in the Daredevils’ run chase.
Both their matches in the tournament have been contrasting. In the first game, their batting gave way, whereas in the second, their bowlers leaked far too many runs. Come Tuesday, against the Mumbai Indians, the Daredevils would want to put up a good collective effort on the field.
“We have discussed after the twolosses as to where we went wrong and what needs to be done, we are just trying to get better and to be honest we haven’t played to our potential. Once we start playing to our potential, I think we are going to beat many sides in the tournament,” said Daredevils all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who addressed the press here in Mumbai.
A lot of big names are missing from the DD lineup and one of the biggest names missing out inthe two matches played so far has been Virender Sehwag who has been nursing his back. It is still unsure if Sehwag will be a part of the high octane game on Tuesday as Irfan Pathan said, “Sehwag is here. He will be practicing today and a decision on his availability will be taken only tomorrow.” Pathan was also unsure of Morne Morkel’s participation in the fixture tomorrow as he was expected to join the squad soon.
The team has suffered two back to back losses in the tournament, definitely not a good way to start, especially after they were on a roll last year. The DD pacer was confident that things will turn around soon. “We would have liked to have two wins instead of two losses, but we are professional cricketers and we allknow that it’s a long tournament and once you get the winning momentum, things will turn around. We are very positive and hopeful of a good show against the Mumbai Indians. We will try and play like Daredevils, like we did last year.”
On a personal front too, Irfan hasbeen silent. He is coming off an injury and hasn’t had the best of starts to the tournament. Irfan believes, he will only get better byplaying more and more matches. “It is just a matter of bowling a lot more, I played the first match and bowled just two overs and inthe second match, bowled four overs and the rhythm was better. I am only going to get better withtime, especially after coming backafter an injury; you need to keep bowling a lot more especially in the matches and not in the nets. Iam feeling a lot better after the second game.”
And what will it be to face off against the likes of a star studdedMI line-up? “There is a lot of attention on the star-power in the Mumbai Indians line up. This might just prove to be an edge for us, as when you play as big stars, they will be under a lot of pressure.”

U-14 Football:
Na Gaeil U14 footballers league campaign continued with mixed fortune with a win against Kilmacthomas and losses to impressive Portlaw and St Saviours teams though Na Gaeil did not have its full panel for any of its matches to date. The Kilmacthomas game was a welcome change after the St Mary's defeat and saw Na Gaeil playing some nice direct football with Richard Lynch enjoying a new role in midfield and Sean MacDonald, Tomas Allen and Aodan Fullan defending well with Aaron Robinson and Gearoid Murphy taking some nice scores.
The St Saviours game provided an opposition that was very well prepared and defenders Luke Crowley and Emmett Browne were very busy for both halves. Michael Lonergan though not fit to play stepped into goal and carried off some great saves while Niall Power and Mark Allen were energetic throughout. The team effort by St Saviours was very good and much work is being done in underage football by the Ballybeg Club. Na Gaeil were missing some players for this game and the scoreboard might have been somewhat different if the whole panel were available.
The Portlaw game played on Saturday last was another lesson in good team play where Portlaw made good use of the ball and put Na Gaeil under pressure from the start. Na Gaeil were without 8 of the panel for this game. However the effort shown by Mark Queally, Josh Douglas, Darach O'Shea and Eamon Morrissey was impressive. The display of Craig Dunphy in defence was particularly pleasing along with Michael McGinley and David Murphy who also carried the game to Portlaw.
The Saturday schedule for matches is causing problems for teams to provide full panels with Soccer, Hurling Development squads and swimming all competing for the attention of our under 14s. What has been very encouraging is the attitude of the players when playing against better opposition and missing a large number of players? A special mention to the players who have been injured and returned to action and in particular John Keane who has missed the whole campaign- we wish him a speedy recovery. Also a word of thanks to all the parents who have assisted in bringing players to matches to date and it is almost over as Na Gaeil have 2 more games left in the league against Sacred Heart and St Mollerans - it would however be great if the panel could continue to train for the rest of the year on Tuesday nights to assist in their development- we will see what the players would like to do.
Training continues on Tuesdays @ 7 in Dunhill. Details of games to follow.
